It is once again earnings season, with most of the publicly traded companies involved in US sports betting reporting info sought by stock investors by the end of August.
Below is an up-to-date list of pertinent earnings calls anyone interested in sports betting stock should take in. All listed times are US Eastern and calls are for second-quarter earnings unless noted.
Week one: slow start for sports betting stock calls
There are just four earnings calls this week concerning US sports betting. Two of those calls are a bit fringe, while the other two are fairly important.
The first must-listen call is for Kambi at 4 am Wednesday. Kambi is a platform supplier for the betting industry and serves multiple US operators. More operators have been opting for their own technology, though, which has led to CEO Kristian Nylén cautioning on the moves.
Also this week is PointsBet, which is listed in Australia and is reporting its fiscal fourth-quarter results. The call starts at 8 pm Thursday on the East Coast, which is 10 am Friday at its Australian headquarters.
Boyd Gaming will hold its call at 5 pm Tuesday, while Churchill Downs will report its earnings Wednesday and hold its conference call at 9 am Thursday. Boyd has a 5% stake in FanDuel Sportsbook and is partnered with the brand across the US but rarely gives in-depth betting details on its calls. Churchill Downs is pulling out of online sports betting but operates casinos in key states including Maryland and Ohio.
Eight important calls to watch in August
Anyone interested in sports betting suppliers should catch the IGT investor call at 8 am Aug. 2 .

Aug. 4 will be quite a busy day with four operator calls scheduled.

FuboTV will hold its earnings call at 4:30 pm that afternoon and is quickly followed by Rush Street Interactive at 5 pm.
