NFL Week 10 odds

NFL Week 10 odds project another week of competitive games and low scoring. Below, we break down the games attracting the most attention from bettors and oddsmakers.

Coming off a rare week where favorites went 14-1 straight up, NFL Week 10 odds feature no double-digit spreads. The undefeated Chiefs, -8 versus the Broncos, are this week’s biggest favorite while most of the other spreads are inside a touchdown. Meanwhile, only two games — Bengals at Ravens and Dolphins at Rams — have seen their totals climb above 50 in NFL betting.

Steelers vs. Commanders

The second-most-bet Sunday game at BetMGM features a matchup between a rookie phenom and one of the NFL’s most steady franchises.

Jayden Daniels has the Commanders (7-2 straight up/7-1-1 against the spread) off to a storybook start to the season. It’s the first time Washington has gone 7-2 or better through the first nine weeks of the seasons since 1996. The Commanders have been the NFL’s best team ATS (tied with Detroit) and at DraftKings, they are -750 to make the playoffs, behind only seven other teams. No other quarterback has started his career 5-0 ATS since 2000, and Daniels has not lost a game as a favorite yet.

Washington will take on the NFL’s fourth-best team ATS in the Steelers (6-2 SU/6-2 ATS), who have been perfect in the two games since Russell Wilson took the starting quarterback job from Justin Fields. Pittsburgh’s surpassed over 400 yards of offense in both of Wilson’s starts, while it did so just once in Fields’ six. Wilson will have another target this Sunday in Mike Williams, whom the Steelers traded for at the deadline. This will be head coach Mike Tomlin’s 32nd time facing a rookie quarterback. He is 25-6 SU in those games so far.

At BetMGM66% of the bets and 70% of the handle are on the Steelers, though the line has moved in the other direction, going from Commanders –2.5 to -3. The Steelers +130 are the book’s most popular moneyline underdog of the week so far.

49ers vs. Buccaneers

This game will be headlined by the much-anticipated season debut of running back Christian McCaffrey. The consensus No. 1 pick in fantasy will look to bounce back from his Achilles injury and provide the 49ers (4-4 SU/4-4 ATS) a boost coming out of their bye week.

While San Francisco looks to be getting healthy, Tampa Bay (4-5 SU/5-4 ATS) is on the other side of the injury spectrum. The Buccaneers have not won a game since Mike Evans and Chris Godwin suffered season-ending injuries in Week 7’s loss to the Ravens on Monday Night Football. Tampa Bay will be playing on six days’ rest coming off an overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. Over the last decade, teams in that spot are just 15-23 ATS.

This line is back to where it opened at 49ers -6.5, after briefly dipping to -6 and -5.5 throughout the week. San Francisco is drawing 74% of spread bets and 87% of handle at BetMGM.

Eagles vs. Cowboys

These bitter rivals square off for the first time this season and find themselves in two very different spots through nine weeks.

The Eagles (6-2 SU/4-4 ATS) are in the midst of a four-game winning streak and are -900 to make the playoffs, while the Cowboys (3-5 SU/3-5 ATS) are +1100 long shots to make the playoffs in the midst of a three-game losing streak.

This line has moved from Eagles -6.5 to -7.5 at BetMGM, which would be the most points a road team has been favored by in this matchup since 1999.

At BetMGM, 66% of spread bets and 68% of handle is on Philadelphia.

Jets vs. Cardinals

The new-look Jets (3-6 SU/3-6 ATS) are looking to put together their second two-game winning streak of the season, after taking down an injury-riddled Houston team on Thursday night. The Cardinals (5-4 SU/6-3 ATS), on the other hand, are looking to extend their winning streak to four games after taking down the Bears 29-9 in Week 9.

This line has moved all the way from Cardinals -1.5 to Jets -1.5, with New York drawing just 37% of spread tickets but 66% of handle at BetMGM.

Lions vs. Texans

BetMGM’s most-bet game of the week is a matchup between the Lions (7-1 SU/ 7-1 ATS) and the Texans (6-3 SU/3-6 ATS).

The Lions have not lost a game in two months and look to be hitting on all cylinders after taking down a quality Green Bay team in Week 9. They are this week’s most-bet team to cover at BetMGM, which will need the Texans to at least cover.

Despite that dynamic, this line is actually down from Lions -4 to Lions -3.5 as of Friday afternoon. At BetMGM, Detroit is drawing 89% of bets and 88% of handle on the spread.
