Player props for Michigan vs. USC

How Miller Moss could get over 250 passing yards

So far this season, the Wolverines are allowing 234.3 passing yards per game. To this point, Michigan has played Fresno State, Texas, and Arkansas State. Quinn Ewers fell just short of 250 yards with 246, but the Fresno State quarterback threw for 235.

Moss has shown the ability to pass the ball for big numbers. He had 378 in Week 1 against LSU. In Week 2, he only threw for 222, but they played Utah State. Moss has completed 71.6% of his passes so far this season, averaging nine yards per attempt.

No quarterback has hit 250 yards against this Michigan defense, and USC has an excellent running back in Woody Marks. He has 29 attempts through two games for 171 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 5.9 yards per attempt.

How Alex Orji could get over 50 rushing yards

Orji is getting his first college football start. While we haven’t seen much from him since he came to Michigan in 2022, what we have seen has been rushing-focused.

In relief of Davis Warren in Week 3, Orji had four carries for 27 yards. In Week 1 against Fresno State, he had 32 yards on five carries. Since 2022, he has 31 carries for 183 yards and three touchdowns.

The Trojans are allowing just 100 rushing yards per game (33rd in the nation this season), and the Wolverines’ two go-to running backs are Donovan Edwards and Kalel Mullings.

Edwards has 36 carries for 150 yards (4.2 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Mullings has been excellent, also rushing 36 times, but for 270 yards (7.5 yards per carry) and two touchdowns.
