Player props for Clemson vs. NC State
How Cade Klubnik could get over 250 passing yards
Klubnik struggled in Week 1 against Georgia, but he responded with a massive game in Week 2 against Appalachian State, throwing for 378 yards and completing 24 of 26 passes.
He also had five touchdowns and 14.5 yards per attempt. So far this season, the Wolfpack are allowing 244.3 passing yards per game (101st) at 12.42 yards per completion and 7.4 yards per attempt.
How Cade Klubnik could get under 250 passing yards
Klubnik beat up on Appalachian State but had just 142 passing yards against Georgia. In 2023, Klubnik had fewer than 250 passing yards in seven games.
He had 263 passing yards against NC State in 2023, but he also attempted 51 passes. Here, Clemson is a 18.5-point favorite, so he may not need to throw as much.
How Kendrick Raphael could get an any time TD
A sleeper choice, Raphael has one touchdown through three games. Clemson is allowing 159 rushing yards per game this season, and running the ball effectively and keeping the ball out of Clemson’s hands will likely be key for NC State to have any shot of winning here.
NC State is also starting CJ Bailey, a freshman, who has just 20 career pass attempts in college football. We could see more of the running game here.
How Kendrick Raphael could miss an any time TD
While Raphael is averaging 5.8 yards per carry, he has just 16 attempts through three games. He’s the backup running back to Jordan Waters and has just two more carries than fellow running back Daylan Smothers, who’s played seven fewer snaps than Raphael.
