DraftKings continues to hold a substantial lead in daily fantasy football over FanDuel ahead of NFL Week 12, with close to double the entry fees of its competitor.
The latest numbers come as FanDuel is under new leadership for the first time in its history. The company announced this week that CEO Nigel Eccles was leaving his position.
The top-line figures at DraftKings and FanDuel
According to a sampling of the publicly viewable NFL contests from Nov. 13-19, DraftKings realized about $3.2 million in revenue.
The sample included guaranteed prize pools and non-guaranteed contests. (The sample does not account for any free entries the sites may have given out, which would not be visible.)
The site generated more than $27 million in entry fees, aka handle. After hitting a low point for a similar sample in NFL Week 9 ($25 million), DraftKings was back at around $27 million the past two weeks.
FanDuel remained a distant second in handle, with about half the amount ($14 million) that flowed through DraftKings across a similar sample. Much like the rest of the NFL season, however, the deficit was not as big in revenue ($2.2 million).
The above figures do not include revenue or handle from other sports.

The guarantees
DraftKings continues to guarantee far more money than FanDuel. That includes a one-off Millionaire Maker that guarantees $4 million at a higher price point of $75.
Meanwhile, at FanDuel, you would have to add up the 12 biggest contests to match just the Millionaire Maker’s guarantee.
