Carnival Citi Casino sign-up bonus: What can you get in October 2026?

It’s super easy to claim the Carnival Citi welcome bonus. To get started, click our Carnival Citi promo code link, or the “Play Now” button on the banner at the top of this page, to head to the site.

Carnival Citi also allows users to sign up with a Google, Facebook or Apple account. But even if you choose to connect those accounts, you’ll still need to enter some personal information when you get started.

Here is what you’ll be asked to do when signing up for a new Carnival Citi account:

• Enter your email address (which will be your username).
• Choose a password.
• Provide your name, date of birth, gender, address, and phone number.

Be sure to have your phone nearby and ready access to your email. Carnival Citi will send you an email to verify your address and also a code to your phone to verify your number. Once verified (which is usually instantaneous), you will officially be a member of Carnival Citi. Check your account balance to find your welcome bonus — 10,000,000 Coins and  5,000 Sweeps Chips.

There are a couple of important terms and conditions to be aware of before you begin signing up for a new Carnival Citi account. First, as is the case at most social casinos, you must be at least 18 years old to play at Carnival Citi.

You must also not be in a state where Carnival Citi is not available. You will not be able to complete registration and play games at Carnival Citi if you are in Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, or West Virginia.

Most social casinos have at least a few states in which they are not available, but Carnival Citi has one of the largest such lists we’ve seen. If you are in one of those states, the site will stop you during the sign-up process based on the ZIP code you’ve entered.

Terms & conditions for latest Carnival Citi casino bonus

The terms and conditions for the latest Carnival Citi promo code are generally similar to those found at other social casinos, although the platform is unavailable in 17 states—more restrictions than many competitors. States where Carnival City is not accessible include Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, and West Virginia.

If you are located in an eligible state, you must be at least 18 years old to participate. Sweeps Chips come with a 1x playthrough requirement, but players must accumulate at least $100 before requesting a prize redemption. This minimum is higher than the $50 threshold commonly seen at other social casinos.

Carnival Citi Casino promo vs. other sweepstakes casino bonuses: Which is better?

Where available, the Carnival Citi promo code delivers one of the stronger welcome offers among sweepstakes casinos.

The 5,000 free Sweeps Chips awarded upon registration rank among the most generous in the market (1,000 SC can be redeemed for $1). This offer is comparable to WOW Vegas (5 SC) and High 5 Casino (3 SC). By comparison, some competitors provide roughly half as many free Sweeps Coins, including Chumba Casino (2 SC) and Hello Millions (2.5 SC).

Comparing bonus offers from other top sweepstakes casinos

How the Carnival Citi social casino works

Carnival Citi functions like most social casinos. It is possible to play without making any purchases, and you cannot wager real money the way you can at licensed and regulated online casinos available in the states that allow it.

Coins vs. Sweeps Chips

Like many social sweepstakes casinos, Carnival Citi uses a dual virtual currency system. Players can enjoy games in standard play mode using Coins, similar to the “Gold Coins” offered at other platforms. These Coins are intended for entertainment purposes only and cannot be redeemed for prizes or cash value. While players can purchase Coins, they can also earn them through gameplay and various site promotions.

Carnival Citi also offers Sweeps Chips, which function similarly to the “Sweeps Coins” or “Sweepstakes Coins” used at other sweepstakes casinos. Sweeps Chips cannot be purchased directly, but they may be included as bonus rewards with Coin purchases. Players can also earn them through promotions and by winning while playing in sweeps mode. Once redemption requirements are met, Sweeps Chips winnings can be exchanged for real money prizes.

	Coins	Sweeps Chips
Purpose	Use to play for fun and win more Coins	Use to play for fun and win more SC, which can be redeemed for prizes
Redeem for prizes?	No	Yes
Purchase?	Yes	No
How to acquire	Game winnings, promotions, and by purchasing	Game winnings, promotions, and free when purchasing Coins

Redeeming Sweeps Chips for real money prizes

The Sweeps Chips that you receive from Carnival Citi promotions or from purchasing Coin packages are not redeemable. You must play through them 1x, then any winnings from the SC will become redeemable SC.

The 10,000,000 Coins and  5,000 SC you receive for signing up for an account at Carnival Citi may sound like a lot, especially when compared to sign-up bonuses at other social casinos, which will often offer between just one to five units of their premium currency. But the games at Carnival Citi have high minimum bets — several thousand Coins in standard mode and at least 1,000 SC in sweeps mode.

Also, at Carnival Citi, 1,000 redeemable Sweeps Chips will redeem $1. The minimum you must have before you can request a prize redemption is 100,000, which is equivalent to $100. That dollar amount is the same redemption minimum as many other social casinos. The maximum redemptions are $10,000 per day and $25,000 per week.

Many social casinos will also offer gift cards as a prize option, with a somewhat lower redemption minimum. That option is not available at Carnival Citi.

Common mistakes to avoid when using bonuses

Carnival City makes securing your welcome bonus very straightforward, in part because you do not even have to make a deposit to secure the bonus. Many social casinos offer a no-deposit bonus to get you started, but often a larger bonus is available once you make at least a minimum purchase.

Still, you always want to read the terms and conditions before choosing which social casino bonuses to claim. Many platforms have different thresholds for claiming bonuses and redeeming prizes, and deposit bonuses and matches often need to be used within a certain time frame in order to redeem any winnings.

Be sure to read the fine print and ensure that you have enough time to fully utilize any welcome bonuses or deposit bonuses so they do not go unused.

Available games at Carnival Citi social casino

Carnival Citi Casino offers hundreds of slots, video poker, and arcade games, and most titles have solid bonus features. The Carnival Citi game selection has impressive graphics and sound effects, as well.

The Carnival Citi website features a simple layout with a search bar that makes it easy to navigate to the different game sections. The site is also colorful and vibrant, making the game tiles really pop as you explore. And the gameplay is solid, with exciting visuals and sounds and fast loading times.

The overwhelming majority of games at Carnival Citi (including all slot titles) come from a single game developer, Game Media Works, which has been developing casino games for more than 20 years. While they are quality games, relying so heavily on one provider kind of limits the variety. And it means you won’t find any of the popular games from leading providers like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, BGaming, and BetSoft that are available at several of the top online social casinos.

While no purchase is necessary to play at Carnival Citi, another unique wrinkle is that you must make a Coins purchase of at least $24.99 to unlock VIP access and be able to play every game at the social casino. There are plenty of games to play without making such a purchase, but you’ll have to make a purchase to unlock the entire catalog.

You must have VIP access to play three-reel slots, keno, video poker, and arcade games. Without VIP access, you are limited to online slots and solitaire games. We were somewhat disappointed in this approach, as many other sweepstakes casinos let you play every available game for free as soon as you sign up.

Slots

The vast majority of the nearly 250 games at Carnival Citi are classic slots, including several jackpot titles. Carnival Citi divides those slots into four categories on its homepage: 3 Reels (which you must have VIP access to play), Big Time Jackpot, Premium, and Frutti Jackpot. There is also a “Featured” section that displays slots and their current jackpot pools.

If you click “Slots” at the top of the site, you’ll arrive at an overview page that includes a “New” section featuring the latest game additions. There you will also see a collection of “hot” slots, featuring games that Carnival Citi players have been enjoying most.

Carnival Citi’s most popular slots include the following:

• Cleopatra
• Aztec Magic
• The Dog House
• Mango Express 7s
• Beastly Burglars
• Piggy Bonanza
• 3 Leprechaun Charms

Table games and video poker

There aren’t many table games available at Carnival Citi. You won’t find a single blackjack, roulette, or baccarat title. There are three first-person, casino-style solitaire games, which are available to play without making a purchase and unlocking VIP access.

Carnival Citi does have a good collection of video poker titles, which are only for those who’ve unlocked VIP access. Carnival Citi’s video poker games include the following:

• Jacks or Better
• 10’s or Better
• Bonus Poker
• Deuces Wild 2
• Double Double Poker Bonus
• Sevens & Joker Wild

Other games

Carnival Citi also features a small selection of keno games, although players must reach VIP status to access them. The same VIP tier unlocks several arcade games, which appear to be the only titles on the platform not developed by Game Media Works.

These KA Gaming titles include Animal Fishing, a single-reel game where players catch fish to win Coins or SC, as well as Mermaid Hunter, a fishing-style game similar to titles available at other social casinos.

Carnival Citi Casino promos for existing users

Carnival Citi has various ongoing promotions that will allow you to score free Coins and SC, including the following:

• Daily login bonus: Receive 1,000 SC each day you log into your account (for up to five days).
• Lucky Draws: Each time you play 10,000 SC on slots and select other games, you’ll earn three e-tickets. Carnival Citi holds daily, weekly, and monthly Lucky Draws, and if any of your tickets are drawn, you can receive free Coins and bonus SC. The more you play, the more tickets you’ll get and the better your chances of winning.
• Facebook promos: Carnival Citi’s active Facebook page offers frequent giveaways and other promotions for free Coins and SC. It gives out coupon codes regularly, and users have several chances to be randomly selected to receive bonuses by replying to the posts.
• Text giveaways: When you opt in to receive texts from Carnival Citi, you’ll receive updates about new game additions and more chances to claim free Coins and SC.
• Mail requests: Receive 2,000 free SC by sending a handwritten request to Carnival Citi through the mail. For complete instructions (which must be followed precisely), click the “Terms & Conditions” link at the bottom of the homepage. Once there, click the “promo rules” link to find the full mail-in bonus details.

Is Carnival Citi Casino legal and safe?

Carnival is a legitimate social casino with built-in safety protocols.

Legality in the US and Canada

Carnival Citi follows US sweepstakes laws in the 33 states in which it operates. It is not available to users in Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, or West Virginia. Carnival Citi also does not currently appear to be available to users in Canada.

Security measures

Like other legitimate sweepstakes casinos, Carnival Citi uses a valid SSL certificate to help protect user data and secure site activity. According to its terms and conditions, user information is stored on secure servers behind firewalls for added protection.

Additionally, many of the games featured on the platform are developed by Game Media Works and are independently tested by BMM Testlabs to help ensure fairness and integrity.

Payment and redemption options

Carnival Citi offers several payment methods if you choose to purchase Coins, although the available options for redeeming your winnings are more limited.

Payment methods

You can make Coin purchases at Carnival Citi (minimum $4.99) using the following payment methods:

• Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit/debit cards
• Online bank transfer (via Trustly)
• Paypal
• Venmo

Redeeming prizes

Before Carnival Citi grants a redemption request, it may ask you for additional information to verify your identity, including images of a government-issued ID and proof-of-address documents. Carnival Citi also requires you to answer a “trivia question” before you can receive your redemption (don’t worry; if you answer incorrectly, you will just receive a different question until you get it right).

All prize payouts are via online bank transfer. Remember that you must have at least 100,000 redeemable Sweeps Chips (equal to $100) before you can request a real money prize redemption.

Carnival Citi will process redemption requests within two days. Once it approves your request, it can take up to five days for the prize to reach your bank account, but we’ve seen several user reviews that say they received payouts within just a couple of days.

Strategies to maximize your Carnival Citi experience

Here are some tips to get the most out of your time playing at the Carnival Citi social casino:

• Use the 10,000,000 Coins you receive for free in the welcome bonus to try out a variety of games and see what titles you enjoy playing the most or have the best luck with. Then try playing them with the  5,000 free Sweeps Chips you received from the welcome offer. Your winnings from playing with SC will turn into redeemable SC, which you can exchange for real money prizes. So it’s best to not blow all of your initial free SC before you understand how the games work.
• If you’re enjoying the games at Carnival Citi, consider spending the minimum $24.99 to purchase a Coins package and receive additional free SC. This will unlock VIP access, after which you will be able to play all of the games, including video poker and keno.

Playing responsibly

As always, to ensure a positive experience while playing at any type of casino, it’s important to follow some basic responsible gaming guidelines. That includes only spending what you can afford and taking regular breaks to cool off.

If you need some help in that department, Carnival Citi offers a few built-in responsible gaming tools. These let you set time and spending limits, and you can also exclude yourself from the site for varying periods of time if needed.

Leveraging bonuses effectively

• Take full advantage of all the bonuses available to existing Carnival Citi users. In your account settings, opt in to receive text messages from Carnival Citi. That way you will receive texts about special bonuses and the latest promotions.
• Follow Carnival Citi on Facebook. It will post about Coin/SC giveaways and other promotions regularly.

Carnival Citi social casino vs. competitors

There are several social casinos that offer at least twice the number of games that Carnival Citi has, including High 5 Casino, McLuck, Pulsz, and WOW Vegas. And many of those social casinos offer a better variety of games, including many more table games and a selection of live-dealer games.

Carnival Citi’s reliance on a single provider for most of its games also limits the variety. You won’t find many of the top game titles that are popular at other social casinos. Conversely, there is a good chance that you haven’t played many (if any) of the games at Carnival Citi, so you might enjoy playing some titles that are fresh to you.

Carnival Citi’s sign-up bonus is among the best available at social casinos. The  5,000 free SC (which is the equivalent of five Sweepstakes Coins — or whatever the premium currency is called — at many other sites) is higher than or equivalent to what several other social casinos offer for just registering a new account.

Carnival Citi customer support

Carnival Citi’s customer support is among the best in the sweeps casino space. The sweeps casino offers email, live chat, and phone options for users to ask questions.

Carnival Citi offers a convenient live chat that users particularly appreciate, and email support typically responds within three hours. There is also a phone support option available.

Final verdict: Is Carnival Citi worth your time?

If you enjoy slots, Carnival Citi is certainly a worthy option. There are some things we really loved about the social casino, as well as a few areas that were disappointing.

Pros

• Easy registration
• Unique slot games
• Simple layout
• Responsible gaming tools
• Solid video poker options

Cons

• Many games are unavailable until you make a purchase
• Minimal non-slot options
• No blackjack
• Limited availability in the US
• No games from most top developers

Our recommendation

Carnival Citi offers a pleasant social casino experience, with a distinct selection of slot titles and various promotions that offer a chance to score additional Coins and SC for free. We found the purchase requirement to unlock all of the games to be a pretty big turnoff. But Carnival Citi is worth checking out, particularly if you are a slots enthusiast.
