Welcome offer, promos, and bonuses
DraftKings and FanDuel are both offering huge Missouri welcome bonuses to celebrate their arrival in the state. The FanDuel sign-up bonus is larger, but DraftKings stands out by offering more ongoing promos.
DraftKings Sportsbook Missouri
You can claim a “Bet $5, Get $300” welcome bonus at DraftKings Sportsbook Missouri. This is a very generous offer. Here’s how it works:
- You simply need to sign up, make a deposit, and bet $5 on any game. Just make sure you hit minimum odds of -500. If your bet wins, you’ll get paid out in cash.
- DraftKings will then give you $300 in bonus bets. It doesn’t matter if your $5 bet wins or loses. You’ll get $300 in bonus bets guaranteed.
- This bonus is divided into 12 bonus bets. Each bonus bet is worth $25. The DraftKings Missouri promo has a simple 1x rollover requirement.
- Just place 12 separate $25 bets on any sports. Any winnings will be paid in cash, which you can withdraw immediately.
Your chances of earning a profit from this bonus are very high. You only need to risk $5 of your own money to earn 12 x $25 bonus bets. Even if just one of your 12 bets wins, you’ll earn more than the $5 you risked.
DraftKings offers loads of recurring promos for existing customers too. These are some of the best bonuses right now:
- Parlay boosts: The app regularly boosts your profits by up to 30% on winning parlays.
- Profit boosts: Get a profit boost worth up to 100% on some of the biggest games each week.
- MLS Season Pass: Place a $5 bet on any soccer game and get an MLS Season Pass subscription.
- Pools: There are tons of free-to-play pools each week. Simply make predictions on upcoming games, and you’ll win bonus bets if you secure a place on the leaderboard.
DraftKings Sportsbook also runs a strong loyalty program. You’ll earn Crowns whenever you place bets, and you can exchange them for bonus bets and other rewards. There are special perks for high rollers too.
- DraftKings Rating: 5/5
FanDuel Sportsbook Missouri
The FanDuel Sportsbook welcome bonus is worth up to $300 in Missouri. This offer is divided into two parts:
- Place a $5 bet when FanDuel Sportsbook Missouri is live, and you’ll get an extra $300 in bonus bets.
This is a very large sign-up bonus. You only need to meet a 1x rollover requirement, and any winnings will be paid in cash. FanDuel allows you to divide the $300 up in any way you like. For example, you could use the entire $300 on one pick, or you could break it down into 50 separate $10 wagers. We like that level of flexibility.
FanDuel offers a wide range of weekly promos too. They include no sweat bets (get your money back as a bonus bet if your wager loses) and parlay boosts. FanDuel runs a few free-to-play contests too. However, FanDuel doesn’t have a loyalty program for sports bettors, and it doesn’t offer as many recurring promos as DraftKings.
- FanDuel Rating: 5/5

DraftKings vs. FanDuel odds & offerings
The best sportsbooks offer high-quality odds and loads of betting options. This is important for two reasons:
- Sharp odds: The top sportsbooks offer better odds than their rivals. That means you’ll maximize your winnings whenever you make a correct pick. This can seriously boost your chances of earning a long-term profit as a sports bettor.
- Lots of markets: This will improve your chances of finding a pick that perfectly fits your predictions on a game.
With that in mind, we assessed the quality of the odds at the top two US sportsbooks. We also broke down the range of betting options at DraftKings and FanDuel in Missouri.
DraftKings Sportsbook MO
DraftKings consistently offers sharper odds than FanDuel:
- The app offers standard juice sides and totals on NFL, NBA, NCAAF, and NCAAB games (-110 on either side of a bet). That equates to a 4.77% house edge.
- We found that DraftKings normally takes a much lower house edge (juice or vigorish) than DraftKings on its baseball, soccer, and hockey moneylines too.
You’ll also find a wider range of betting options at DraftKings. The app offers more props and more futures betting markets than FanDuel.
- DraftKings Rating: 4.5/5
FanDuel Sportsbook MO
FanDuel’s odds aren’t quite as good. This online sportsbook sometimes offers standard juice lines, but it often takes a slightly higher house edge. For example, we found this line at FanDuel on Thanksgiving:
- Kansas City Chiefs -3.5 vs. Dallas Cowboys (+100)
- Dallas Cowboys +3.5 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-122)
That equates to a 4.95% house edge. By contrast, DraftKings only charged 4.77% juice on the same game. We also compared the moneylines at FanDuel and DraftKings, and there was a clear winner:
- FanDuel takes a house edge of around 4.55% on NHL moneylines, compared to 4.15% at DraftKings.
- DraftKings takes a house edge of around 4.5% to 5% on EPL soccer moneylines, while FanDuel takes over 7%.
- FanDuel was charging 5.9% juice on UFC moneylines during our testing, compared to just 4.3% at DraftKings.
FanDuel offers a wide array of betting options, but not as many as DraftKings. We also found that DraftKings covers more sports, leagues, and tournaments. FanDuel has a heavy focus on parlays too, and it pushes them quite aggressively. Parlays are notoriously difficult to hit, so we preferred DraftKings’ approach. It’s easy to compile parlays at DraftKings, but they aren’t rammed down your throat all the time.
FanDuel Rating: 3.5/5
Live streaming: Is DraftKings or FanDuel better?
FanDuel is the clear winner in this category. The app offers a ton of live streaming options, covering NBA, NHL, and MLB games. You’ll also be able to stream select NFL, WNBA, PWHL, and NWSL games, plus soccer, tennis, and much more.
DraftKings offers some live streaming options, including select NFL games, but it can’t compete with FanDuel in this area. However, DraftKings does offer lots of useful features that you won’t find at FanDuel. For example, you can browse a wealth of pre-game stats at DraftKings, whereas FanDuel doesn’t offer pre-game stats.
- DraftKings Rating: 3/5
- FanDuel Rating: 5/5
Deposits & withdrawals: DraftKings or FanDuel
Both apps offer a wide range of secure, convenient payment methods. You can use credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, and online banking on both apps. They both support Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo too.
The limits are also very similar. DraftKings previously offered lower minimum deposit limits than FanDuel, so it was a better option for casual sports bettors. However, FanDuel now offers identical limits to DraftKings – $5 on deposits and $1 on withdrawals.
Both apps also process payout requests quickly and efficiently. FanDuel may offer slightly quicker payouts via certain methods, such as PayPal and Venmo, but the differences are negligible. This category has to go down as a tie.
- DraftKings Rating: 5/5
- FanDuel Rating: 5/5
DraftKings vs. FanDuel customer support
FanDuel offers 24/7 support via live chat and email. The agents are normally quick to reply to requests. However, the customer service team covers a huge range of products – FanDuel’s sportsbook, racebook, online casino, DFS app, and so on. That means there can be delays during busy times.
You’ll sometimes benefit from live chat support at DraftKings, but you may need to fill out a support ticket and wait for a reply. The agents are diligent, professional, and friendly. DraftKings has a better online help center than FanDuel too. The FanDuel help center is a little chaotic.
Overall, FanDuel edges this one. Neither sportsbook offers elite support. We’ve found that Caesars Sportsbook and Bet365 are better for customer service, but DraftKings and FanDuel both do a pretty good job.
- DraftKings Rating: 3/5
- FanDuel Rating: 4/5
Final verdict: DraftKings or FanDuel in Missouri
It’s easy to see why DraftKings and FanDuel are the top two sportsbooks in the country. They offer better apps, faster payouts, and more features than their rivals. We like both sportsbooks, but DraftKings is our overall winner.
FanDuel offers a larger sign-up bonus, slightly faster payouts, and better support. However, you’ll find sharper odds and more betting options at DraftKings. That’s important, as the goal is surely to earn a profit as a sports bettor. Your chances of earning a profit will be higher if you sign up with DraftKings, as it takes a lower house edge on its betting lines.
DraftKings also offers more weekly promos, loyalty rewards, and pre-game stats to help you make astute picks, so we’d recommend signing up with DraftKings in Missouri.
