Patriots vs. Jets Prop Odds: Player Props For Breece Hall & More

The New England Patriots travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets in a showdown of AFC East teams this Thursday. Both teams are 1-1 after differing results in Week 2, and NFL Week 3 odds have the Jets as solid home-field favorites.

However, the over/under line anticipates the potential for a low-scoring affair as defenses have been dominant in the first two weeks of the NFL season. There’ll also be plenty of player props to choose from in a game that promises to be hard-hitting. We also cover a sportsbook promotion from BetMGM. Use code PLAYLSR to get started.

Player props for New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

How Breece Hall could get over 104.5 rushing + receiving yards

Hall has been a central figure in the New York Jets’ offense in 2024, elevating himself into the elite running back conversation. Through two games, Hall has carried the ball 30 times for 116 yards and a touchdown, averaging 3.9 yards per attempt behind an improving offensive line. He’s also caught 12 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. In total, Hall has averaged over 100 scrimmage yards per game.

Aaron Rodgers has targeted Hall 14 times, the second-most on the team, and his 12 receptions are a team-high. He’s likely to continue receiving a high target share while taking the bulk of the carries in the run game.

How Breece Hall could get under 104.5 rushing + receiving yards

The Jets’ offense looked better against the Titans in Week 2, and Rodgers is still shaking off some natural ring rust, so they’ll likely improve even further. But a tough New England Patriots defense stands in their way in Week 3. Even though this isn’t Bill Belichick’s defense anymore, Jerod Mayo has found ways to take away the opposing team’s running backs through two weeks. Zach Charbonnet had just 37 yards on 14 carries in Week 2, and Zack Moss rushed for just 44 yards in Week 1.

The Patriots’ defense has allowed the second-fewest rushing yards per game (58.0) to opposing offenses and could find ways to stifle Hall and the Jets’ offense in Week 3.

How Rhamondre Stevenson could get over 74.5 rushing yards

Stevenson has been the Patriots’ bell cow through the first two weeks of the season, carrying the ball 44 times for 201 yards — the fifth-most in the NFL — and two rushing touchdowns. The former fourth-round pick will likely continue to be the fulcrum of the Patriots’ offense, especially while he’s averaging 4.4 yards per attempt and the Patriots are averaging 177.5 rushing yards per game.

The Jets’ run defense has been ripe for the picking so far, too. It’s allowed over 130 rushing yards in both games, as opposing running backs have feasted on picking up rushing yards.

How Rhamondre Stevenson could get under 74.5 rushing yards

As it stands, the New England offense has been clicking with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. The passing game has been steady, if not electric, and the running game has been taking advantage of that. However, that might not last forever.

The Patriots’ offense isn’t blessed with receiving talent, and if teams elect to load the box and stop the run, Stevenson could be in for a harder time.
