NFC South teams 

The NFC South has consisted of four teams since the 2002 NFL season. Since that point, the Saints have won the most division crowns with seven. The longest NFC South title drought belongs to the Panthers, who last won the division in 2015. 

Atlanta Falcons Atlanta Falcons +800 on FanDuel

The Falcons finished third in the NFC South last season with a record of 7-10. The club picked up its first win of the season with a comeback effort on the road against the Eagles in Week 2, and is currently 3-2 overall with QB Kirk Cousins leading the squad to two straight wins. The team’s last playoff appearance happened following the 2017 campaign.

The Saints finished second in the division last season with a record of 9-8. New Orleans is 2-3 after picking up blowout wins in the first two weeks before losing three straight. No team in the NFC has scored more points than the Saints through four weeks. The club has won the NFC South seven times since 2002, including most recently in 2020. New Orleans has missed the playoffs three seasons in a row.

The Buccaneers won the NFC South last season at 9-8 to claim the team’s third consecutive division title and sixth since 2002. Tampa Bay got off to a strong start this season with wins in its first two games but suffered its first loss of the season with a 26-7 home defeat to the Broncos last week and now stands at 3-2 after last week’s loss. QB Baker Mayfield has been solid this season, with six TD passes and a 74.4% completion percentage through the first three games.

Carolina Panthers Carolina Panthers +100000 on BetRivers

The Panthers went 2-15 last season to finish last in the division. The club has had six consecutive losing campaigns and last reached the playoffs in 2017. Carolina is 1-4 this year after two straight losses. The team has won the NFC South five times since 2002, most recently in 2015.
