Player props for Bengals vs. Chiefs

How Isiah Pacheco could get over 100 rushing yards

In Week 1, the Bengals allowed 170 rushing yards to the New England Patriots, including 120 on 25 carries to Rhamondre Stevenson. They also allowed quarterback Jacoby Brissett to run seven times for 32 yards (4.6 yards per carry), and fellow running back Antonio Gibson had 18 more on seven carries (2.6 per carry).

The Chiefs are six-point home favorites, which potentially bodes a positive game script for Pacheco to receive ample carries. In his last game against the Bengals on Dec. 31, 2023, Pacheco had 18 carries for 130 yards.

How Isiah Pacheco could get under 100 rushing yards

Against the Ravens on opening night, Pacheco had 15 carries for 45 yards (three yards per carry). Over his career, he has just four games with 100+ rushing yards, with three of the four coming last season.

Of his games with 100+ rushing yards, he had 18+ carries in three. Pacheco had just four carries in the first half of Week 1.

How George Karlaftis could get over 0.25 sacks

Lining up against the right tackle, Karlaftis will match up with Bengals right tackle Trent Brown. In Week 1, Brown played 38 pass-blocking snaps and allowed four pressures and one sack. The Bengals are six-point underdogs, which could result in additional dropbacks from quarterback Joe Burrow

Karlaftis had six pressures in Week 1 against Baltimore.

How George Karlaftis could miss Over 0.25 Sacks

While Brown allowed a sack in Week 1, he allowed just three in all of 2023 with the New England Patriots. This was Brown’s first game with the Bengals. Karlaftis had 1.5 sacks against the Bengals on Dec. 31, 2023, but Brown wasn’t the right tackle in that game.

Bengals tight ends combined for seven pass-blocking snaps in Week 1, which could also improve in Week 2.
