Circa Sports bonus terms and conditions
Circa Sports does not offer a bonus to new customers at its online sportsbook. However, it prides itself on how its odds and betting limits stack up against other online books. Keep in mind that you must be 21 or older, and located in Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, Iowa, or Illinois to sign up and wager at Circa Sports.
Is Circa sportsbook legal?
Yes, Circa is a legal and licensed sportsbook that operates on a regulated basis in four states. This means regulators in those states oversee that Circa’s operations are safe and fair, and that they comply with local consumer protection laws. This makes Circa significantly safer than unregulated offshore sportsbooks.
In Circa’s home state, the Nevada Gaming Control Board is the regulatory authority. In Colorado, it’s the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission and the Colorado Division of Gaming. And in Iowa and Illinois, it’s the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and Illinois Gaming Board, respectively.
In each of the states where Circa is legal, you must be 21 or older to sign up, and you’ll need to be within state lines to place any wagers. Attempting to bypass the age or location requirements will result in Circa banning your account.
States where Circa sportsbook is available
Circa Sports operates online in Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, Iowa, and Illinois. It is available to use online via its website, as a sportsbook app, or in person at eligible retail locations.
States where Circa sportsbook is unavailable
So far, Circa has only launched in four states. It is currently available in Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, and Illinois. It is therefore unavailable in the remaining 45 states.
While this is a limited set of states, Circa may expand to more in the future. We will provide updates if that happens.

Circa online sportsbook review
Circa Sports was founded in 2019 by Derek Stevens, who built it into a retail sportsbook with multiple locations in Las Vegas. Its flagship location is at Circa’s resort in Downtown Las Vegas: the Circa Resort & Casino, which opened in 2020.
When it opened, Circa Resort & Casino advertised itself as offering the “world’s largest sportsbook.” The book and related Stadium Swim venue contains room for more than 1,000 people, private boxes, six pools on three levels, and a three-story, 78-million-pixel high-definition screen.
Since then, Circa has expanded into the world of online and mobile sports betting, starting with Colorado, then Iowa and finally Illinois, where it has a retail location in Waukegan.
User interface
The Circa interface is sleek and simple. Everything is organized into a basic menu-based layout, and your bet slip is easily viewable. IGT provides the software that powers the Circa interface, which works reliably and smoothly, with fast update speeds. However, the interface appears to be optimized for desktop rather than mobile play.
So far, Circa has an app rating of 3.6/5 on the Apple App Store, and it’s still in the process of accumulating reviews on Google Play. In general, people are happy with the simplicity of the interface, but some have complained that it’s a little bit “bare bones” and works less well on some devices, particularly Androids.
If you’re looking for generally solid odds in an easy-to-use interface, Circa is a good option. It makes it easy to place bets, even if the app isn’t quite as fancy as you’ll find at books like FanDuel or DraftKings.
Customer service
Circa doesn’t offer the kind of 24/7 customer service suite that some customers will have grown accustomed to at other major online sportsbooks. The best way to resolve an issue is to consult Circa’s FAQ section. Otherwise, email support@circasports.com and a representative will be in touch.
Deposit and withdrawal options
You can deposit and withdraw for free at Circa, but there are only a few methods available. However, the platform is still in the process of shifting from an exclusively land-based sportsbook to an online one, so it may add more in the future.
Currently, Circa customers can use a bank transfer or a Play+ card to deposit. There is a $10 minimum to deposit using a bank transfer, but no minimum for Play+, and neither method has a maximum deposit.
Circa currently only offers withdrawals via Play+ card, which may be a drawback for some users. In Nevada, you may also withdraw in person at land-based Circa locations, or you may request a check by mail.
What sports can you bet on at Circa?
You can bet on all of the major American sports leagues at Circa Sports. However, the overall list is definitely more limited than you may find at some other sportsbooks.
Currently, Circa lets you bet on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA football, and NCAA basketball, and you can also find odds on motorsports (NASCAR and Formula One), golf, soccer, tennis and UFC.
How are the odds at Circa?
Circa’s odds are the primary selling point for the platform. Circa backs up its odds pricing with high wagering limits. That means that if you’re a serious bettor looking to make high-dollar wagers, Circa is one of the places to do that.
While it may lack some of the conveniences of other books, Circa generally won’t let you down when it comes to its betting lines.
How early are Circa lines available?
Circa lines should generally be available in a timely fashion, a few days before each game or event. In general, Circa will post them at the same time as other sportsbooks, like DraftKings, FanDuel, or Caesars.
It is, however, known for opening college football lines for the coming week every Sunday morning before any other regulated US sportsbook. This leads to significant early betting volume on NCAA football at Circa.
Are there any betting limits?
Circa Sportsbook advertises itself as having among the highest limits of any sports betting platform. Its limits vary depending on the sport and wager.
Circa sportsbook final thoughts
Circa Sports is a newer operation. Its offers an alternative for more serious players. To that end, it offers a stripped-down interface that focuses on odds and higher betting limits, making it a potentially good no-nonsense option, depending on what you’re looking for.
Circa Sportsbook pros
- Odds generally stack up favorably or better with the competition.
- Higher betting limits
- Legal in five states, with more potentially on the way.
- Easy-to-use website.
- State-of-the-art retail locations in Nevada.
Circa Sportsbook cons
- Limited deposit and withdrawal options.
- No promos or bonuses.
- Email-only customer support.
- Sportsbook app could be better.
Bettors will likely find Circa refreshing: it’s straight to the point, and the odds are good. However, there are no bonuses or boosts at all, its customer support and cashiering options are subpar compared to the market, and its sportsbook app has received middling reviews so far.
In all, we think Circa Sports is worth considering and it may get a better handle on some of its current issues as it continues to fine-tune the platform.
- Our rating: 3.75/5
Circa sportsbook user reviews
It isn’t always easy to tell if a sportsbook is right for you. One thing that can help is checking reviews that other customers have left. Keep reading for a quick look at what current Circa users are saying:
Circa sportsbook iOS reviews
There are only a handful of reviews for Circa Sports so far on the App Store, and while the reviews are not perfect, they do suggest that there is a lot to like about the sportsbook. Users have praised its odds pricing, simple layout, and high limits.
However, there are also a number of issues that have led iOS users to complain. The lack of withdrawal options is a common area of concern, and some users also note that the app is not optimized for iPad, though it works well on iPhone.
Circa is evolving fast as it grows its interface, so it’s not surprising that there are still some bugs that it needs to work out. Nevertheless, we would hope to see some improvements sooner rather than later.
- Overall consensus: 3.6/5 stars with approximately 150 ratings
Circa sportsbook Google Play reviews
The Circa Sports Colorado app is available on the Play store, but it has not received many reviews so far. Nonetheless, the early indications are that there is a lot of work for it to do. Between the limited options for withdrawals, no live chat for customer support, and a number of early bugs, it still needs to make some tweaks.
- Overall consensus: N/A with approximately 1K downloads
Circa sportsbook coming soon
Circa Sports is in the midst of growing from a Nevada-based retail operation to an online sportsbook with a national reach. So far, it’s only available in Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, Iowa, and Illinois, but more states may be on the way.
