Caesars Sportsbook future states
Caesars Sportsbook is live in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. With sports betting legalization on the horizon in Kentucky, North Carolina and Vermont, Caesars is poised to enter those markets with its online sportsbook in the coming months.
Caesars Sportsbook Kentucky
Legal online sports betting will be available in Kentucky by the end of 2023 if the state holds to its deadline, and Caesars is one of multiple books looking to launch. While the state has not confirmed an official launch date, it could potentially be before the start of the 2023 NFL regular season in September.
Gov. Andy Beshear signed Kentucky House Bill 551, which legalized sports betting in the state, into law on March 31, 2023. The law goes into effect on June 28, 2023, and the state has set itself a deadline to make sports betting available no more than six months after that. This means the effective deadline for launching sports betting in Kentucky is Dec. 28, 2023, though it could end up being earlier.
We will continue to update this page with more information as it becomes available.

How does Caesars compare to other legal sportsbooks?
You’ll find a variety of sportsbooks in the legal US sports betting market. So how does Caesars stack up to the competition? Here’s a side-by-side comparison in a few key categories versus another pair of industry giants.
Features | Caesars App | FanDuel App | BetMGM App |
Same-Game Parlays | Available for select games with a solid range of choices eligible for inclusion. | A featured offering with lots of options to consider for available games. | Known as “one game parlays,” with a dedicated tab for building bets. |
Odds Boosts | Dedicated tab for daily odds boosts with a big selection to consider. | Options can be limited at times, but there is a dedicated tab. | Available at times, but not featured prominently on the site. |
Best Feature | Rewards and promos. You can earn points just for betting on sports, and there’s a regular selection of promos. | Usability. FanDuel is one of the most user-friendly sportsbooks in the industry. | Edit my bet. BetMGM goes beyond the early cash-out option to let you make adjustments to existing wagers. |
Needs Improvement | Betting lobby. The scrolling can be endless at times. Minimizing and maximizing options doesn’t always solve it. | FanDuel has a handful of regular promotions, but fewer than you’ll find at other top legal online sportsbooks. | Website layout. Navigation is awkward, and the layout could be more efficient. |
Customer Support | Email, phone and live chat are available. Support is generally responsive and on point. | Chat support is easily accessible. Great help and FAQ sections that have a variety of info. | Several options are available, but it takes a lot of unnecessary clicking to get there. |
App Rating | Android: 4.3 on 3,533 reviews. iOS: 4.6 on 10,530 ratings. | Android: 4.7 on 31,841 reviews. iOS: 4.8 on 323,472 ratings. | Android: 2.3 on 1,449 reviews. iOS: 4.8 on 62,286 ratings. |
The US market is incredibly competitive and likely to remain that way. For this particular sportsbook, the simple platform, competitive odds, and great rewards and promos have helped it stand out in several states.
What are the top features at Caesars?
There are several excellent features at Caesars Sportsbook. Here are some areas where it really excels:
- Caesars Rewards: You can sign up and earn redeemable rewards points just for betting on sports. For every $5 in potential profit on your wagers, you get one online reward credit.
- Competitive odds: When it’s time to place bets, we want the odds to at least be in line with the market as a whole. That’s not an issue at Caesars. We found that the odds and lines are nearly always on point.
- Selection: There’s a range of sports available for betting, as well as all of the types of bets that you could ask for.
Caesars Sportsbook NFL Watch & Bet
Caesars is the first, and currently only, sportsbook app that lets users stream select NFL games and bet on them simultaneously. All users with account balances can stream games from their Caesars Sportsbook app. The only other requirement is you must have placed a bet within the past 10 months.
How to sign up for a Caesars Sportsbook account

Caesars makes it easy for new players to get started. From start to finish, you can have an account ready in just a couple of minutes. To begin, sign up to the sportsbook here and be sure to use the Caesars sportsbook promo code LSRFULL during the registration process.
You’ll land at the welcome page, where you’ll click on the green “bet now” button. From there, it’s a simple three-step process where you just have to follow the prompts.
- First up is account information, which includes your name, date of birth, and phone number.
- Next up is security info and personal information. On this screen, make sure that Caesars promo code LSRFULL is in the bonus code box so you can claim the sign-up bonus.
- After you’ve entered your info, you’ll check off some boxes and click submit to move onto the confirmation screen.
Caesars will verify your identity as part of the registration. If it can’t do so, you’ll receive an immediate notification to provide support documents to expedite the process. Assuming there are no troubles on this end, your account will be ready instantly.
You can explore the odds, browse through the available sports and check out the current promos. After you take a look around, remember to make your first deposit to activate the sportsbook bonus. The first bet you make after your opening deposit is on Caesars for up to $1,250.
Caesars promos vs. Fanduel & DraftKings
Caesars Sportsbook has a selection of ongoing promotions available via a dedicated link on its website and betting app. We also found them on top of the main betting lobby, and the sportsbook regularly emails the offers. Here are some of the current top highlights:
There’s a regular array of sportsbook promos at Caesars, and they’re easy to find. When we compare side by side to DraftKings and FanDuel on this metric, the Caesars app gets a leg up.
Caesars also lets you cash out early at certain times. If things are breaking your way on one of your bets, be sure to log in to the website or app to see if this option is available. If you want to cash out, just click to settle instantly.
You can also join Caesars Rewards to earn redeemable points while you bet on sports. This is another spot in which Caesars is ahead of the big two. Rewards accumulate as you play, and you can turn around and redeem them with ease.
If you’re going to be playing regularly at an online sportsbook, an incentive for your loyalty is a nice perk. Caesars delivers with regular promos that are simple and easy to understand, as well as with one of the top rewards programs in the industry.
How you can bet at Caesars
Caesars Sportsbook is on the simple side in appearance, but the tech behind the scenes keeps things humming along nicely so you can get down to business easily. When you download the Caesars app, you’ll see the full menu of available sports. Once you click on what you want, the betting lobby will list the upcoming contests.

The main game listing covers the top pregame bets by sport, which in this case are the spread, moneyline, and total. If you click the arrow next to the two team names, you’ll see all of the other available bets for that game.
There are clickable menus for all categories. One particularly nice touch is that odds boosts and any other special bets for that contest appear right there with all of the other options. When you find your bet, just click the odds to add it to your slip.
Once you add your stake, you’ll see the potential return right there on the slip. From there, just verify that everything looks good and click submit. After you’ve placed your bet, you can track it in the open bets section.
Early cash-outs are available at times from Caesars, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out as the games play out. Once the games go final, open bets will settle right away. You can expect any winnings to reach your account shortly after the final whistle.
Extra features can be fun, but there’s also a lot to be said for clean and simple. Caesars falls into the latter category and is a great spot for getting in on the action easily. Here’s a quick run-through of the top available bets:
- Moneyline: Pick which side you think will win the game.
- Browns -105 over Raiders
- Spreads: You can bet on the favorite minus the spread or the dog plus that number.
- Patriots +2.5 over Colts
- Totals: Bet whether the combined score will be over or under Caesars’ line.
- Over 44.5 (-110)
- Alternate lines: Varying numbers for spreads and totals with differing odds.
- Eagles -9.5 over Washington to Eagles -11.5 over Washington
- Props: Bet on player stats and other things that might happen during the game.
- Chase Claypool to score a TD +150
- Live betting: Place bets in real-time as the action plays out on the field.
- Four or more first-half TDs scored +460
- Parlays: Make multiple picks on the same betting slip.
- Jets +9.5 over Dolphins
- Lions +13 over Cardinals
- Bills -10.5 over Panthers
- Total parlay odds: +581
- SGP: A multi-leg wager on a single contest.
- Bengals over Broncos (+130)
- Total points over 44.0 (-110)
- Same-game parlay odds: +339
- Teasers: Bettors control the spread for two or more games with odds that move to match.
- Cowboys -10.5 over Giants to Cowboys -6.5 over Giants
- Dolphins -9.5 over Jets to Dolphins -5.5 over Jets
- Futures: A long-term wager on a more distant outcome.
- Chiefs to win Super Bowl 2024 +550
What sports can you bet on at Caesars?
There are several online sportsbooks that provide odds for the top games and events and leave it at that. We found Caesars to offer much more with a big selection of sports to choose from. For those who stick to the most popular options, you’ll be more than covered.

There’s a clean menu of all available sports that are divided into two sections: popular and all. You’ll also find a search bar to help you find what you’re looking for.
For the smaller sports, Caesars has more popular choices like darts and table tennis, as well as those that attract scant attention like handball and snooker. Overall, we found Caesars to offer plenty of options when it comes to sports available for wagering.
How are the odds at Caesars?
The sportsbook odds are generally very competitive at Caesars. The team behind the scenes has a wealth of experience, so you’ll generally see lines that are in range with the market as a whole. At times, Caesars will be the best of the bunch for specific games and events.
When we compared the odds at Caesars to other online sportsbooks, such as DraftKings or FanDuel, Caesars holds up well. Due to market action, there’s no way for the numbers to always be the same, but the pricing will be fair.
Odds comparison — Caesars Sportsbook vs. FanDuel Sportsbook
For further insight, let’s compare the odds board at Caesars and FanDuel for five games. Spreads and totals have a tendency to fall in a very tight range across the industry, but you can find value when shopping around on the moneyline. Here’s how Caesars compares to the competition:
Event | Caesars | FanDuel |
---|---|---|
Chiefs vs. Chargers | -169/+145 | -174/+146 |
Raiders vs. Browns | -115/-105 | -112/-104 |
Patriots vs. Colts | +115/-135 | +118/-138 |
Panthers vs. Bills | +400/-556 | +385/-500 |
Jets vs. Dolphins | +340/-435 | +320/-420 |
As you can see, there are no glaring discrepancies between the two books, but one will outpace the other in certain spots. Bettors can always line shop to find the best odds prior to wagering, but they’ll find that Caesars is regularly in line with the broader market.
How early are lines available?
First isn’t always best when it comes to betting odds, and there tends to be a lot of similarity between the initial numbers for the majority of the top games and events. Caesars will generally have lines available quickly, but it won’t necessarily be the first to market.
As a general rule, you can expect to start seeing odds for the following week’s NFL and college football games as the current slates begin to wind down or by the day after. For MLB, NBA, and NHL games, the numbers could come out the day before or the morning of.
For other sports, the release of the lines will be in line with the rest of the industry. Like most US sport betting sites, the odds tend to be the most efficient for the more popular sports.
Are there any betting limits at Caesars?
All legal sports betting sites have house rules that include specifics on limitations. Here’s a summary of some of the main points at Caesars:
Category | Limits |
---|---|
Minimum Deposit | $20. The minimum wager is $0.10. |
Payout Caps | The max payout for a single winning bet is $2 million. |
Parlay Rules | Same-game parlays cannot be more than 10 legs. A regular parlay could go up to 16 legs, but it may be capped by sport/event. |
In addition to the above, keep in mind that there can be state-specific restrictions on what you can bet on. Some blanket rules include no wagering on high school sports or on US presidential elections, while a few states have specific restrictions on in-state college teams and events. Check out our legal sports betting state chart above for complete details.
What others are saying about the Caesars app
When choosing an online sportsbook, you won’t truly know if it works for you until you get some hands-on experience. That said, the opinions of others can help you determine which options are worth your time. With that in mind, here’s a sampling of the general consensus surrounding Caesars.
Caesars Sportsbook Reddit reviews
The Caesars sportsbook app is a popular topic of discussion for the sportsbook community on Reddit. There are a number of active threads to browse, many of which cover general questions and comments about playing on the site.
Similar to our BetMGM review, the Caesars reviews on Reddit show some confusion about promos, with the majority of users not reading or understanding the terms and conditions. We did find quite a few complaints about support. The company’s aggressive marketing campaign has also received its share of bashing.
Overall consensus: Caesars attracts attention on Reddit, both good and bad. You can find some interesting chatter in the threads. Sports bettors generally appear to be content with the odds boosts and promos, but there is more criticism when it comes to support.
Caesars Apple reviews

Currently ranked 23rd in the sports section on the App Store, the Caesars iOS app has over 10,500 ratings to date. Comments lean to the positive side, but there are some complaints, as well.
Promos and bonuses received high marks from several iOS reviewers. Similar to the feedback we found on Reddit, the primary complaints are calls for improved customer service and more clarity on bet terms and conditions.
Overall consensus: 4.6/5 stars with 10,500 reviews.
Caesars Google reviews
Over on Google Play, users have downloaded the Caesars Sportsbook app over 100,000 times. Reviews are mainly positive, but you’ll also find a good deal of one-star ratings from disgruntled customers.
The simplicity of the app and bonus offers were among the top likes, while again, many unhappy reviewers pointed to customer service and lag time as trouble spots.
Overall consensus: 4.3/5 stars with 3,538 reviews.
Our Caesars app review
At first glance, Caesars appears to be a basic sportsbook that’s devoid of flash, but looks can be deceiving. What it lacks in bells and whistles, it makes up for in overall functionality.
It offers clear menus that let you navigate around with ease, and you won’t have to do a ton of hunting to find what you want. The search feature assists with this.
One area that could use some improvement is the scrolling on the main betting lobby. While you can change what you see by clicking on a specific sport, the minimize and maximize arrows don’t always lead to the desired results.
That can lead to some occasional bouts of endless scrolling, but there are times when it works as advertised. The cashier and betting slip are easy to use, and help and support are just a click away.
On an overall basis, we give the Caesars platform high marks. That said, those who expect more flash may be a little disappointed. If you’re simply looking for a reliable and safe place to bet on sports, it’ll work just fine.
The top three things we like
Caesars Sportsbook continues to grow in popularity, and there’s nothing to suggest that will be changing anytime soon. Here are three specific areas that are helping the cause:
- Regular promos: Caesars Sportsbook isn’t shy with regular offers for existing players. There are often odds boosts, parlay insurance, profit boosts and more on a weekly basis.
- Range of choices: The menu of options runs really deep at Caesars. From the available sports to all of the different ways to wager, there’s plenty to keep you engaged on a year-round basis.
- Ease of use: The tech is sound behind the scenes at Caesars. That translates into a smooth experience on the website and app. You can take care of all of the major functions without having to worry about glitches.
Three things we would like to see improved
While Caesars has done a lot of things right, that doesn’t mean that the sportsbook is nailing it on all fronts. Here are three spots we feel could use a tune-up:
- Betting lobby navigation: The simple layout at Caesars makes it easy to get around, but the betting lobby can have that endless scroll feel to it.
- Customer support: As mentioned, Caesars needs to improve the level of support it provides customers. There is a history of delays and long wait times.
- Rewards tracking: We found a spot to track total rewards in our account section, but it would be nice to see how many we’re accruing on each individual bet. A simple addition to the betting slip could make a lot of difference.
Caesars funding options
It should be easy to get money in and out of a legal US sportsbook, and that’s the case at Caesars. The cashier function is smooth and easy to use, and there’s a range of options to choose from.
- ACH e-check
- Caesars prepaid card
- Cash at a casino cage
- Credit or debit card: Mastercard or Visa
- Neteller
- Online bank transfer
- PayNearMe
- PayPal
- Skrill
The exact options may vary by state, but there are generally more than enough choices for bettors to find what works best for their situation. Once your account is ready, deposits will go through instantly, and funds will be available to play with right away.
Withdrawals have to go through internal processing and review. This can take some time during busier periods, but it can be as soon as the same day or the next business day. From there, the amount of time it takes for you to access will depend on your chosen method.
There’s a $20 minimum for deposits and withdrawals, and the max amounts will vary by method. For example, there’s a $10,000 limit per transaction for PayPal. Full details on all of the banking methods are available in the FAQ section.
How to get help at Caesars
Caesars has dedicated links for support and help on the website and app. If you need assistance, you have four options:
- Live chat
- Phone
- Online help
Chat and phone support are the best choices for pressing concerns. Online help is self-directed and lets you explore the FAQs and other topics, while Caesars will answer emails in the order that it received them, often within one to two business days.
Beyond the standard support options, there are other links that you can explore as necessary.
- Help: General information and FAQs.
- Patron protection: Caesars policies and steps you can take if there’s an issue.
- House rules: The rules for playing on the site.
- Terms of service: Standard legal information.
- Your feedback: Users can provide insight on what they like or don’t like.
- Responsible gambling: Detailed information on help and resources.
On that last point, Caesars outlines its policy clearly and points you in the right direction should you need some help. You can self-exclude without issue, set limits and explore the options for professional assistance as necessary.

Caesars Sportsbook FAQ
Is there a promo code for Caesars sportsbook?
Yes. Use Caesars sportsbook promo code LSRFULL when signing up for your account to receive the maximum new player welcome offer. Full details available within the review.

- Arizona
- Colorado
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Louisiana
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- New Jersey
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
When you visit the online sportsbook or app, you’ll find a clickable seal to take you to the relevant state gambling authority website, all of which keep a running list of approved books.
Why am I having trouble connecting to the Caesars app?
If you’re having issues connecting to the Caesars sportsbook app, it could be a problem with your device or internet connection. The best advice is to visit the Caesars Sportsbook website and review the help section for steps to take. If you’re still having trouble, there are reps available via live chat or phone.
Why is the Caesars app freezing/kicking me out?
Often, it ties back to one of the issues mentioned above, so you can follow the same steps to rectify it. It could also have to do with geolocation tracking, which Caesars uses to help verify that you are within the borders of a legal state when placing bets. If you are and your bets still won’t go through, contact support for help.
Can I bypass geolocation on the Caesars app using a VPN?
No, this is definitely not a good idea. For starters, Caesars will suspend your account and you won’t be able to play on the app. It’s simply not worth it. Caesars is already available in several legal states, with more on the way.
Caesars accepts credit cards, but my bank declines the transaction. Why?
This could be an issue with the card itself or a location issue. While the US sports betting industry continues to grow, there are still some banks and credit card companies that don’t allow gambling-related transactions. At the state level, you can’t use credit cards in Iowa and Tennessee, while available options may vary by sportsbook in other states. When you visit the cashier section at Caesars, you’ll see a list of the available options in your state. For alternatives to credit cards, Play+ cards and PayPal may work better.
I’m having difficulty locating the status of my bets?
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to review active bets in the “open bets” section of the slip. After bets settle, head over to your account section and look for the betting history. You’ll be able to review all of your settled bets right there. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can always contact support. When placing bets, be sure that you see confirmation that Caesars has accepted the bet before moving along.
Why did Caesars void my bet?
If Caesars voids a bet, there’s a good reason for it. For example, the game or event may have been canceled or pushed to a later date, or a specific wager may have been pulled off the board due to an injury. Through the years, there have been several ownership changes and a renaming of the parent company. Most recently, Eldorado Resorts finalized its acquisition of Caesars Entertainment Corp. in July 2020.
The new company goes by Caesars Entertainment, and there has been even more growth in the aftermath. In April 2021, the company completed its acquisition of the US operations of sports betting giant William Hill.
That set the stage for Caesars to become a major force in the world of online sports betting. The official transition from William Hill to Caesars took place in August 2021. The online sportsbook is available in 10 states, with further expansion plans in the works.
Tom Reeg is the CEO of Caesars Entertainment. The company trades on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol CZR. For the most recent quarter, the company reported significant growth in both betting handle and market share.
Caesars is off to a great start in newly legal states such as Arizona, New York, Maryland, and Ohio, and it’s gaining ground in mature markets like New Jersey. For now, it’s behind industry leaders FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM, but the future looks bright.
