ESPN, DraftKings and the PGA TOUR are expanding their sports betting coverage for the 2026 season, rolling out an all day watch and bet golf feed as broadcasters and leagues respond to data showing fans wager more when betting tools are integrated directly into live streams.
PGA TOUR LIVE Betcast presented by DraftKings will air during 12 marquee tournaments in 2026, beginning this week at the WM Phoenix Open. The Betcast will stream more than eight hours per day across all four rounds of play on the ESPN App, totaling more than 400 hours of betting-focused coverage throughout the season.
The expanded format builds on a smaller 2025 rollout that delivered 50 hours across six events. ESPN said the Betcast will run alongside traditional PGA TOUR live feeds and feature real time betting analysis, tournament previews and live wagering markets tied to matchups and tournament outcomes.
Industry partnerships reinforce strategy
ESPN executives said the Betcast reflects growing demand for alternative viewing options, while PGA TOUR officials said the expanded coverage gives fans more betting markets and storylines to follow throughout each tournament.
“The PGA TOUR is pleased to present more than 400 hours of live betting coverage in 2026 alongside our collaborators at ESPN and DraftKings,” PGA VP of Gaming Scott Warfield said. Building on the success of last year’s feed, we are excited to further expand this season with the support of DraftKings and its world-class golf product, as fans will have a host of new betting markets and storylines to follow as they watch along with the broadcast.”
The Betcast will continue through the season ending Tour Championship.
Integrated betting drives live bets
The move aligns with broader trends across the sports betting industry where operators have increasingly focused on embedding wagering tools directly into live video streams.
