How Jaxson Dart could get an any time TD

This season, Dart is averaging more than six carries per game. On Sept. 14 against South Carolina, LSU allowed Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers to rush for two touchdowns.

The last time these teams played was Sept. 30, 2023. Dart had seven carries for 50 yards and a touchdown.

How Jaxson Dart could miss an any time TD

Dart is averaging more than six carries per game, but he hasn’t scored a rushing touchdown since taking on Wake Forest. Over the last three games, he’s had 26 of his 38 carries and hasn’t scored.

The Tigers allowed two rushing touchdowns to Sellers, but no other quarterbacks have scored via a rushing touchdown.

How Henry Parrish Jr. could get an any time TD

Parrish has nine touchdowns this season, scoring in all but one game. He’s averaging more than 15 carries per game and has gone for 100 yards or more in two games. The Tigers have allowed eight rushing touchdowns over five games.

How Henry Parrish Jr. could miss an any time TD

The Tigers have allowed eight rushing touchdowns, but they are holding opposing offenses to less than 3.8 yards per carry. They’re 43rd in the country in rushing yards allowed per game (117.2).

Parrish has scored in his last two games, but against SEC competition, his yards per carry have been lower, with 4.8 against Kentucky and 3.9 against South Carolina

LSU has thrown the ball on over 63% of its offensive snaps, so Ole Miss could have to throw to keep pace. Parrish Jr. is hardly used in the passing game. He has just nine receptions for 67 yards and no touchdowns this season.
