How Carson Beck could get over 2.5 passing TDs

This season, Beck has 10 touchdowns through four games and has thrown three or more in two of them. In Week 1, Beck had two passing touchdowns, but the Bulldogs had a commanding lead over Clemson, and throwing wasn’t necessarily required.

He had three passing touchdowns in his most recent game, in Week 5 against the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road.

Beck threw three touchdowns in Week 5 against Alabama, but the Bulldogs were down 30-7 at halftime, and the game required him to throw more. He attempted a season-high 50 passes. His only other game with three touchdowns or more came in Week 2 against an FCS team — Tennessee Tech — where he had five touchdown passes.

Beck didn’t have a single passing touchdown in Week 3 against Kentucky, and Auburn has allowed just four passing touchdowns all season.

How Payton Thorne could get over 15.5 rushing yards

Thorne has appeared in four games this season; in those, he has 16 rushing yards or more in three of them. He’s had double-digit rush attempts in two games this season and had 23 in his last start against Oklahoma

Georgia allowed Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe to run for 117 yards in Week 5.

The Tigers are massive underdogs on the road, which could require Thorne to throw more. He attempted a season-high 32 passes in Week 4 and had 338 passing yards and 23 rushing yards. However, that game was closer, with Oklahoma notching a 27-21 win.

Before Week 5, the Bulldogs allowed fewer than 200 total yards in two games and fewer than 300 to Kentucky.

Remember, if a quarterback is sacked, this counts against his rushing yards. The Bulldogs have eight sacks this season. Auburn has allowed 35 pressures this season.
