This Saturday, bet365 Sportsbook has a promo called Saturday Sluggers. If you place a wager that meets the qualifying conditions, you can get bonus bets if players hit home runs during the relevant game.

This bet365 sportsbook promo is convenient, as picking a player to hit a home run is a popular addition to parlays and same-game parlays. While we don’t yet have the odds for players slated to play this Saturday, we can still examine the matchups to see which players might make for interesting wagers.

What is the bet365 Saturday Slugger?

Bet365 Sportsbook’s Saturday Sluggers promotion involves a specific MLB matchup each Saturday, hence the name. Bettors can wager $50 or more on a parlay or same-game parlay wager involving said game.

If they do so, they’ll receive $10 in bonus bets each time a player hits a home run in the advertised game.

The bonus bets can be scaled down to $5 per home run if the wager is between $20 and $50. Fortunately, you’ll be given a minimum of $5 or $10 in bonus bets based on your wager if no home runs are hit. You must place the wager before 7 a.m. ET this Saturday. Only parlays with odds of +100 or greater qualify.

Favorites to hit a home run this weekend

CJ Abrams (Nationals vs. Brewers)

CJ Abrams leads the Nationals in home runs with 15, and on Saturday, he’ll face Brewers pitcher Aaron Civale, who is the worst in the league in HR/9 at 1.80. This season, lefties have hit nine home runs off Civale and have a slugging percentage of .465. Civale sports a 4.92 ERA in 108 innings and has allowed six home runs over his last five starts.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays vs. Yankees)

We mentioned Civale as the worst pitcher by home runs per nine innings, and behind him is Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodon. A lefty, Rodon has allowed 20 home runs to right-handed batters, which Guerrero Jr. is.

Guerrero has hit 21 home runs this season and has three over his last five games. Rodon has allowed a home run in all but seven starts this year.

Aaron Judge (Yankees vs. Blue Jays)

That’s right: Both pitchers in this game are prone to gopher balls.

The Blue Jays will send Jose Berrios to the hill on Saturday, and he sports an HR/9 of 1.5 and will take on a Yankees lineup that’s hit an average of three home runs per game over its last three.

Aaron Judge has had 32 at-bats against Berrios in his career and has four home runs. Judge has hit three home runs in his past five games and is one shy of 40. Yankee Stadium is a hitter-friendly park, and this could be the prime opportunity for Judge to hit the 40 mark against a pitcher who’s allowed four home runs over his last five starts.
