Bally Bet will not join the MA sports betting market until July as originally planned.
The certificate of operations meeting for Bally Bet was supposed to be Thursday.
However, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission announced Wednesday that it had been postponed until July 1.
Held up by MA sports betting matter
MGC interim chair Jordan Maynard said that it was his understanding that there was still “one outstanding matter” that needed to be addressed.
A July debut from Bally’s would mark 16 months since the launch of the MA sports betting market. Bally’s launched its online casino product on March 5 in neighboring Rhode Island.
Bally’s, despite not being active in the state, was the only operator to attend the MGC roundtable on MA sports betting limits.
