2024 Final Four odds
Current favorites to reach the NCAA Final Four
UConn Huskies ()
The Huskies have returned several key players from their title run and are likely to receive a No. 1 seed in the drawing. UConn is far more familiar with making Final Four runs from a lower position in the bracket, but a top seed shouldn’t hurt.
Houston Cougars ()
With a stellar defense that has allowed the fewest points per game in the nation this season, Houston is capable of grinding out wins. The Cougars are also expected to be a No. 1 seed.
Purdue Boilermakers ()
With 7-foot-4 center Zach Edey leading the way, Purdue is looking to avenge a first-round exit at the hands of No. 16 Farleigh Dickinson last season with a deeper run this time around. The Boilermakers last reached the Final Four in 1980.
Arizona Wildcats ()
Arizona dropped a conference game to USC to end the regular season but still entered the Pac-12 Tournament as the top seed. This is a new era for the Wildcats following the dismissal of former coach Sean Miller, and Arizona is trying to bounce back after losing in the first round to No. 15 Princeton last season.
Tennessee Volunteers ()
A loss to Kentucky in Tennessee’s final regular season game has lengthened the team’s tournament odds and might have cost the Volunteers a shot at a No. 1 seed. Dalton Knecht is a difference-maker on the wing for coach Rick Barnes, who will be attempting to lead the program to its first Final Four appearance.
Auburn ()
There is a relatively wide range of odds available for Auburn to reach the Final Four. The Tigers are No. 12 in the AP Top 25 and will open the SEC Tournament as the No. 4 seed. Auburn owns the fifth-best scoring margin (+14.9) in the nation.
North Carolina Tar Heels ()
This program has a record 21 Final Four appearances, and the Tar Heels are loaded up for another run. Twin towers Armando Bacot and Harrison Ingram can dominate down low, and Cormac Ryan stepped up on the wing to help UNC finish the season with a win over Duke. The Tar Heels have a shot to earn a No. 1 seed with a strong showing in the ACC Tournament.
Duke ()
While their odds have lengthened from an opening number of +1200 this season, the Blue Devils are always a threat to make a tournament run. Duke reached the Final Four in 2022 and has the second-most national championships (five) in history.
Kentucky ()
Right behind UNC with 17 Final Four appearances, Kentucky reached the semifinals in four of five years from 2011-15 but has not returned since. The Wildcats seem to be peaking at the right time, though, with a 7-1 finish to the regular season that included key conference wins over Alabama and Tennessee.
