The 2023 Peach Bowl will occur on Saturday, Dec. 30, with the Penn State Nittany Lions taking on the Ole Miss Rebels. The game will kick off at noon from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Both teams finished the season ranked in the top 11 and with records of 10-2. The Nittany Lions are on the spread for this game at top online sportsbooks, which has an over/under line of .

Just three Penn State players have opted out of the game, while 12 have done so for Ole Miss. Penn State will also play this game without edge rusher Chop Robinson, as he has declared for the NFL. Jaxson Dart and Drew Allar will still take the field for the Rebels and Nittany Lions.

The Nittany Lions gave up an average of 11.8 points per game this season, which was third-least in the country. Over their last three games, that average was down to 10 points. Ole Miss, meanwhile, allowed 23.7 points per game. Offensively, Penn State averaged 34.8 points per game, and Ole Miss was at 31.4.

Further, Ole Miss averaged 182.3 rushing yards and 254.1 passing yards per game, while Penn State averaged 175 yards rushing and 202.4 yards passing. Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar finished the year with just one interception on 352 attempts, averaging 6.6 yards per attempt. Dart had five interceptions on 321 attempts and added 551 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
