With Tagovailoa opting out, the Terrapins will likely turn to redshirt sophomore transfer Billy Edwards Jr., who arrived at Maryland last season. Since then, he’s attempted 56 passes — completing 57.1% — for 310 yards (5.5 yards per attempt), three touchdowns, and one interception.
