Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs won the AFC West for the eighth consecutive season last time out. Kansas City has won the division 10 times since 2002. The team opened this season with a 27-20 home win over the Ravens and will host the Bengals in NFL Week 2 action.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers closed last season in the back of the AFC West standings at 5-12. Los Angeles has won the division five times since 2002, with its most recent title coming in 2009. Los Angeles opened with a home win over the Raiders and now travels to face the Panthers.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders finished second a season ago with a record of 8-9. The team’s last AFC West title came in 2002. Las Vegas has finished in the basement of the standings seven times over that span and reached the playoffs three times. The Raiders will be on the road to take on the Ravens this week.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos finished third in the AFC West last season with a record of 8-9. Denver’s last division title happened in 2015, capping a run of five straight. The team opened this campaign with a 26-20 road loss to the Seahawks and will be at home to face the Steelers on Sunday.
