Is the SuperDraft DFS site legal?

SuperDraft is legal in a number of states, but it is not available in some states that restrict paid daily fantasy sports platforms.

Some states allow SuperDraft to operate as a game of skill under a carveout in the the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. User interface

SuperDraft has developed a simple, easy-to-use interface that is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The SuperDraft app allows you to easily switch between game modes, and entering contests generally takes just a few clicks.

The SuperDraft app has an average rating of 4.4/5 on the App Store and 4/5 on Google Play, with most users expressing their satisfaction with the app and especially the multiplier game mode. Keep in mind that support hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. ET on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET on weekends.

While turnaround times on customer support tickets are relatively quick, the restricted hours and lack of a live chat or customer support phone number means SuperDraft lags behind many of its peers in this department. While SuperDraft customer support is reliable, it is certainly less convenient than at other platforms.

Deposits and withdrawals

SuperDraft customers can make deposits and withdrawals using their credit card. It accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, meaning most users should have no issues making credit card deposits. SuperDraft does not accept any other payment methods for deposits.

As for withdrawing, users can request to receive their funds via either ACH bank transfer or e-check. There is a withdrawal minimum of $10, and withdrawals can take up to eight days to process.

In all, this set of banking options is another minor downside to the SuperDraft platform. The lack of support for PayPal, PayNearMe, Play+, or other popular deposit and withdrawal methods is a drawback, as is the fact that users must use separate methods for depositing (credit card) and withdrawing (ACH or e-check.)

There are a few ways to try SuperDraft contests. You can find a combination of traditional salary cap leagues along with less common formats. Here’s a quick overview of the game modes:

• Salary cap: What many may think of as the standard daily fantasy format, SuperDraft’s salary cap option gives you a budget of $80,000 to pick a roster, with each player having an assigned “salary” according to their perceived value. The rest is up to you, whether you go big on a couple of superstars and cut corners elsewhere or spread your funds out for a more well-rounded squad.
• Multiplier: This fantasy format is unique to SuperDraft. In multiplier leagues, the site provides a multiplier value to each player (1.15x, 1.5x, 2x, etc.) instead of a salary. After each game, SuperDraft multiplies a player’s points by that player’s multiplier (for instance, 20 points x 1.5 = 30 points). The higher a player’s expected point total, the lower that player’s multiplier will be. When picking your team, you’ll need to weigh high-value players with low multipliers against lower-scoring players with the potential for big upside, thanks to their high multipliers.
• Champion mode: A more casual version of the multiplier format, this mode features five-player teams with one “champion” — who scores an extra 50% — and four additional players.
• Super 15: This salary cap-style contest requires a little less effort. In each super 15 league, you have $15 to make a five-person team out of a small pool of top players, each of whom SuperDraft has assigned a value to.

With four ways to play, SuperDraft is a fairly flexible platform. You have the option to stick with the classics, play SuperDraft’s signature multiplier format, or try your hand at super 15 or champion mode for a more casual way to play.

SuperDraft multiplier and champion mode guide

The most distinct aspect of SuperDraft is its signature multiplier game mode. Normally, fantasy leagues assign each player a “salary” based on how many fantasy points the DFS site expects that player to score. You then have to come up with the team that makes the best use of your budget.

In multiplier leagues, there are no salaries; you can pick whichever players you want. However, SuperDraft assigns each player a multiplier that applies to that player’s points each game. Star players will have lower multipliers, while lesser-known players will have higher ones. For instance, when choosing a wide receiver for your multiplier football league, options might include D.K. The multiplier element means a whole new set of players might become viable fantasy picks.
