Caesars Sportsbook Ohio promo code details

By signing up using the link above, using the Caesars Ohio promo code “LEGALTIX”, and making a qualifying deposit of at least $20 into your sportsbook account, you will receive $100 in free bets at Caesars. That $100 will be available on Jan. 1 at midnight, the launch of Ohio Sports betting.

You will also be entered to win a single Cleveland Cavaliers ticket when you sign up above. Caesars will randomly select five new users per week to attend a pre-determined Cavaliers game. There will be nine total drawings of five names each (45 tickets total,) one each for every week leading up to launch. Every new user who signs up will be eligible for all nine drawings.

Note that this pre-launch offer can be combined with Caesars’ regular new user offer, which is a risk-free bet worth up to $1,250. So whether you have the $100 in free bets on launch day or not, everyone will be eligible to redeem the $1,250 risk-free bet.

What to know before Ohio sports betting launches

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed HB 29 into law on Dec. 8, 2021. This legalized online and retail sports betting, on both professional and college sports.

There are three types of licenses available. Type A licenses are for online betting partnerships between sportsbooks and sports teams or casinos. Caesars has a partnership in place with Scioto Downs in Columbus..

Type B licenses are for retail sportsbooks, and Type C is for various retail entities (grocery stores, bars, restaurants) that want to offer sports betting kiosks.

People in Ohio will be able to bet on all major sports, including the NFL, MLB, NHL, college football and NBA. This means you can bet on the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Guardians, Cincinnati Reds and Columbus Blue Jackets.

You must be 21 or older and located within the state’s borders to bet in Ohio, but residency is not a requirement. Sportsbook apps use geolocation technology to verify your location at the time of wagering.
