Caesars Sportsbook preview of Thursday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

Caesars Sportsbook gives the Browns the edge this week, favoring them by four points on the spread. The Steelers are +170 underdogs on the moneyline. The total for this game is the lowest of all Week 3 games at 38 points.

The Steelers and Browns had a rough Week 2, losing to the New England Patriots and New York Jets, respectively. The Steelers showed a continued reliance on their defense. However, that defense must learn to work without star linebacker T.J. Watt, who is out until at least the end of October. Pittsburgh’s pass rush suffered the most. After posting seven sacks in Week 1, the Watt-less defense posted zero sacks in Week 2.

The Browns allowed the Jets offense to rally late and get a one-point win. In the Browns’ game in Week 1, they rallied late to beat the Carolina Panthers by two points. With Caesars setting them as five-point favorites, they’ll need to come out on top by more than a field goal for the first time this season for point spread bets on them to cash. They also may be without defensive end Jadeveon Clowney this week, as he exited the Jets game with an ankle injury. He is listed as questionable for this week’s game.

Don’t forget that Thursday Night Football is streamed on Amazon Prime Video this season. The game starts at 8:15 p.m. ET.
