DraftKings Sportsbook Monday Night Football preview: Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are 2.5 point favorites while the Vikings are +120 moneyline underdogs. The over/under for this game is on the higher end of all Week 2 total lines at 49. The point spread is one of the smallest of Week 2 matchups.
Both of these teams are NFC dark horses coming into this game, as their Week 1 performances indicated potential playoff aspirations. It helps both of their chances that the Cowboys’ postseason hopes have diminished with Dak Prescott’s injury.
The Vikings are coming off a statement win against the Packers, where they kept the Aaron Rodgers-led offense to seven points. Justin Jefferson tallied 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the impressive performance. The Eagles, meanwhile, notched 450 yards of offense in their opening game against Detroit. A.J. Brown went off for 155 yards in his Eagles debut. Granted, it was against the Lions, who likely will struggle this year on defense.
Both squads will look to separate themselves as 2-0 teams heading into Week 3. With good receivers and a strong running game on both sides, this could be a high-scoring, competitive game that could go either way.
