DraftKings Sportsbook preview: Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers
This Raiders vs. Chargers AFC West matchup will be a big one. The game is as much a chance at revenge for the Chargers as anything else, as the Raiders beat them in overtime in the last game of the regular season last year to knock the Chargers out of the postseason.
The Chargers are a -180 moneyline favorite and a 3.5-point favorite on the spread this week against the Raiders. The over/under for the game is 52.5 points. The Chargers are hosting at SoFi Stadium.
Both the Raiders and the Chargers made some moves this offseason. The Chargers traded for Khalil Mack, who alongside Joey Bosa makes the pass rush a huge threat. The defense also added J.C. Jackson, and signed Derwin James to an extension, making him the highest-paid safety in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Raiders traded for Davante Adams to give Derek Carr a top receiving option and diversify their pass catchers. This addition alone could move the Raiders up a tier.
This game could be a sign of the landscape of the AFC West this season. It’s looking like it could be the most stacked division in the league, and the four teams (Chargers, Broncos, Raiders, Chiefs) will be seeking to establish themselves early.
