Sports betting is live in Kansas
On Aug. 12, the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission approved a set of regulations governing sports betting in the Sunflower State. A week and a half later, on Aug. 22, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt gave his approval to rules from the Kansas Lottery. Those rules contain provisions like a 10% tax rate for sportsbook revenue and allowing wagers on both college and professional sports.
The law in Kansas allows for all of the state’s commercial casinos to take bets in person plus partner with up to three online sportsbooks each. Here are the four casinos that now offer retail sports betting:
